WASTE REMOVAL VENDOR OF CHOICE FOR POLO FIELDS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Per a vote by the Board of Directors  for Phases A, B, D and E, Superior Sanitation is our newly approved Garbage/Refuse service in Polo Fields and their trash service day each week will be Wednesdays beginning April 30, 2008.    This change was prompted by the complaints of many neighbors regarding the number of trash containers throughout the Neighborhood beginning Tuesday nights and running through Saturday.  The Board reviewed the Restated Restrictions & Covenants  of the Polo Fields, (Liber 3017, Page 438   Article VIII – General Covenants; Use Restrictions Number 8.27), in which it states “one rubbish removal contractor will be selected by the Homeowners Association to collect rubbish and garbage for all Lot Owners on one day each week…”   The last Friday that Superior Sanitation will pickup will be on 4-25-08.   Beginning 4-30-08, Superior Sanitation pickups will be on Wednesdays.   The Board requests all homeowners who are NOT utilizing the services of Superior Sanitation to contact them to make the appropriate change.  (FYI -- It is less costly than most other waste disposal companies.)    Remember also to call your current waste disposal company and cancel your service.   Please remember that Homeowners are not to keep garbage and refuse containers outdoors except for 12 hours prior to scheduled pickup.  Again, please reference the Restated Restrictions & Covenants  of the Polo Fields, (aka, Deed Restrictions) located at http://www.pfhomeowners.com/docs.cfm   Rates for Superior Sanitation are as follows: Superior Sanitation out of Brighton Phone:  810-227-1298 ·                     $39 a quarter includes use of their cart/$33 a quarter if you use your own ·                     Recycling weekly – 30 gallon recycle bags - you can purchase from Superior Sanitation - $1.00 and comes in rolls of 10 bags each. ·                     Yard Waste – will take 2 bags of yard waste a week – no charge.  ·                     Anything over that is $1 a bag-- you call it in ahead of time -- same with large bulk items. ·                     If you pay up front for a full year, you'll get an additional 10% discount!!!!   Superior Sanitation does not recycle glass.  However, Scio Township allows residents to recycle the third Saturday of the month.  TIME:               8:00 am – noon LOCATION:   Scio Township Hall 827 N.
